Our apps

Music can also be played digitally.

t@lenschool is a set of three ground-breaking, free applications designed to foster musical discovery and practice among children and adults with little or no formal musical training.

The pedagogical approach is engaging and accessible, combining recreational learning with cutting-edge digital tools. Users are invited to take part in a rich, sensory experience that encourages active participation in music-making, rather than passive listening.

All three applications are now available in newly enhanced versions, in both French and English, and can be downloaded free of charge on all iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

t@lenschool has been recognized with four national and international awards—evidence of its educational value and growing interest among music educators, professionals, and cultural institutions.

Just like the musicians of Les Talens Lyriques, students form a digital orchestra and perform musical works together.
Each participant uses a tablet to control a specific instrument or vocal part, along with key musical parameters.

This interactive setup allows students to study, understand, and recreate the workings of a professional ensemble. They learn to recognize instrumental timbres, develop group cohesion, and collaborate to bring a piece to life. One student takes on the role of conductor, guiding the digital orchestra in real time.

Jouer-ensemble

Everyone can create their own musical piece — like assembling a musical puzzle.
Les Talens Lyriques have recorded a wide range of musical themes and variations. Users simply select and combine these elements to build their own composition.

It’s a playful invitation to explore creativity and imagination.

By connecting multiple tablets, users can collaborate, mix different versions, and shape a rich, harmonious piece of music together.

Composer

Everyone can get to know the art of interpretation. This app enables participants to produce their own version of harpsichord pieces by taking the place of Christophe Rousset at his instrument.

Playing the harpsichord is within your reach, so why not give it a try?
